  2. Highest-level certificate authentic by Taiwan Embassy
    A notarized translation in English or Chinese is necessary if the original document is in a language other than English or Chinese.
  3. Transcript of academic records authentic by Taiwan Embassy 
    A notarized translation in English or Chinese is necessary if the original document is in a language other than English or Chinese.
  4. Verification of nationality or a copy of passport 
  5. Financial Statment
    A financial statement within the past 3 months showing that you have sufficient funds to study in Taiwan.
    *If the financial statement is not from applicant's personal savings, please provide a bank statement with sufficient funding for at least 3 months total cost, along with the form “Financial Guarantee
  6. Two Letters of recommendation
    Recommendation letters must be provided by at least two different recommenders(written in Chinese or English), please select one of the following:
    (1) Upload 2 recommendation letters alongside your application documents online.
    (2) Have the recommenders send the recommendation letter directly via email to Ms. Mandy Liu , E-MAIL: mandyliu@gm.ttu.edu.tw
    (3) Have the recommenders send the recommendation letter in sealed envelope to the address as follow:

  7. Certificate of Language proficiency
    (1)Application for Chinese-taught programs: Please submit a Test of Chinese as a Foreign Language (TOCFL) certificate at Basic Level (Level 2) or Hanyu Shuiping Kaoshi (HSK) Level 4 certificate, or an internationally accepted certificate of an equivalent level.
    (2)Application for English-taught programs: Please submit an English language proficiency certificate equivalent to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) level B1 or above.
    (3)If each department has higher language proficiency requirements, the department's standards shall take precedence.
  8. Additional documents required by the department or graduate program you are applying to. 
    Please refer to the Admission Brochure->Admissions Evaluation & Criteria for Each Department/Institute.
  9. Declaration
    Applicants should be qualified for the regulations set by the Ministry of Education, Taiwan. Carefully read the contents which are listed and sign the document. 
  10. Student dormitory application form 
    Only for the applicants who intend to apply for accommodation.

  1. Depending on the circumstances, TTU may request additional documents to review your eligibility or educational background.
  2. If the verification process is not completed before the application deadline, a signed Deposition for the Submission of Required Documents will be required.
